Atalian Servest prioritises mental health in the workplace

Atalian Servest has committed to taking active steps to proactively change the way people think and act about mental health by signing the Mental Health at Work Commitment.

The commitment and associated resources have been created by Mind, one of Atalian Servest’s charity partners, and is supported by a number of parties including The Royal Foundation.

In line with The Mental Health at Work commitment, Atalian Servest will adhere to six fundamental standards to ensure the business prioritises mental health in the workplace:

  1. Prioritise mental health in the workplace by developing and delivering a systemic programme of activity
  2. Proactively ensure work design and organisational culture drive positive mental health outcomes
  3. Promote an open culture around mental health
  4. Increase organisational confidence and capability
  5. Provide mental health tools and support
  6. Increase transparency and accountability through internal and external reporting

Daniel Dickson, Chief Executive Officer UK & Ireland, commented: “We are committed to addressing the impact work has on the mental wellbeing of our colleagues. Providing mental health training for all line managers is just one part of this commitment. We want to ensure all colleagues are aware of the help, tools and services available to them.”
