Paul Fairhead, CEO of ISS’ food services brand, ISS Guckenheimer, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Society for Hospitality and Foodservice Management (SHFM).
SHFM is a national community of hospitality professionals that enhance workplace amenities and foodservice through education, networking and innovation. It seeks to be the pre-eminent workplace hospitality industry expert empowering diverse current and future leaders.
Speaking about his appointment, Fairhead said: “I’m pleased to bring to SHFM the perspective and experience I have in leading an organisation whose specialty is delivering high-end chef-crafted, fresh food to customers dining in corporate restaurants, cafes, and similar site and campus venues. SHFM’s values and mission also align well with those we have cultivated at ISS, and I look forward to advancing them in my capacity as board member.”
ISS Guckenheimer’s food services mix includes: cafes and culinary experiences; catering, events, and executive dining; micro-kitchens and pop-ups; coffee and espresso. The business has been leading the industry in deploying creative solutions to reduce food waste and divert surplus food, and recently committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with food served globally by 25 per cent by 2030.
