Rugby Borough Council launches new property repairs service in partnership with Totalmobile

Rugby Borough Council has officially launched its transformative Property Repairs Service, in partnership with field service management software solutions provider, Totalmobile.

The new system, designed to provide better and faster repairs for the council’s 3,500 homes, will help schedule repair visits more efficiently and allow quicker responses to changes, ensuring that repair teams can address issues promptly and effectively.

Totalmobile’s Connect and Mobile solutions, now in use by the council, are part of a cloud-based platform that assigns repair tasks to the best-suited staff with the right skills and materials. Repair workers will have all the information they need at their fingertips, ensuring they can complete jobs efficiently. Management will also be able to track progress and ensure high-quality service.

With the official launch of the new Property Repairs Service, Rugby Borough Council says it is committed to enhancing the quality of life for its residents by ensuring timely and effective property maintenance.

Rachael Savage, Property Repairs Manager at Rugby Borough Council, commented: “The launch of our new Property Repairs Service marks a significant milestone for Rugby Borough Council. The advanced solutions provided by Totalmobile will bring substantial improvements to our service delivery. The Totalmobile team has also been incredibly supportive throughout the implementation process, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration to enhance our repair services for the benefit of our residents.”

Chris Hornung, Managing Director of Public Sector at Totalmobile, added: “We are delighted to see Rugby Borough Council officially launch this innovative project. Our Connect and Mobilise solutions will enable the council to optimise its operations, resulting in a significantly improved customer experience and happier residents. It’s exciting to be part of a project that will make a real difference in the community.”
