With blackouts across the UK expected to rise, power solutions provider, Critical Power Supplies (CPS), has published a new report featuring an in-depth look at the causes, challenges and solutions associated with power outages.
The Government has warned that the country’s transition to renewable energy will increase the risk of widespread blackouts if it is not managed carefully, while the recent heavy 2023/24 storm season highlighted the fragility of the UK’s power supply network.
