Public sector framework appointment for Amey

Full life-cycle engineering, operations and decarbonisation solutions firm, Amey has been awarded a place as a designated consultancy supplier on the Pagabo Professional Services Framework.

The framework, which will run for a period of three years with an option to extend for a further year, will enable Amey to secure contracts to deliver a wide range of professional services for public sector organisations including schools, universities, government departments, and local authority organisations in several regions across the UK and Northern Ireland. This includes four lots of services covering decarbonisation retrofit for non-dwellings, civil and structural engineering, landscape architecture design, and sustainability and environmental consultancy.

As part of the framework, Amey will have the opportunity to support organisations to decarbonise their built environments through the provision of consulting services related to sustainable boiler refitting, energy-efficient light replacement, insulation, and EV charging infrastructure.

Alex Gilbert, Managing Director, Consulting, Amey, said: “This recognition highlights our commitment to delivering excellence in consulting and engineering services to support the energy-transition needs of public sector organisations. We look forward to bringing our decarbonisation expertise to help provide more sustainable solutions to the built environment that the public rely on.”

Jason Stapley, Chief Procurement Officer, Pagabo, said: “Professional services is our most popular framework offering so we were expecting a high level of quality bids for the new iteration – and we were not wrong. Now on its third instalment, this framework goes from strength to strength – continually demonstrating quick, simple and effective procurement possibility.

“There is a perfect blend of continuation from the previous iteration alongside changes that address the needs of clients and suppliers. As a result, the opportunities offered to suppliers are very valuable and clients are provided with easy access to the best selection of organisations in the consultancy industry.”
