Altro’s latest Sustainability Report published

Altro has published its latest sustainability report, providing a comprehensive overview of the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable practices.

‘Building better futures’ contains detailed information on Altro’s environmental impact and efforts to reduce carbon emissions; initiatives and programs that promote social responsibility within its communities; innovations in sustainable product development and supply chain management; as well as key performance metrics and benchmarks that track the company’s sustainability goals.

Richard Kahn, Altro’s CEO says: “Listening to our customers is one of the most important things we do, and some of that feedback tells us that people want to hear more about our sustainability journey, and want us to share our ideas, milestones, and achievements more widely.

“As a family-owned and run company that’s been around for more than a century, many principles of sustainability are embedded in the way we work – taking care of our people and our communities, innovating and challenging ourselves to find better or new systems, processes and products, and working in partnership throughout our supply chain and alongside other manufacturers in our industry.

“I hope this report shows how important those principles are to us here, how hard we’re already working, and our ambitions to continue to build better futures for us all.”

The annual report is the first published since Sustainability Manager David Lever joined the leading flooring and walling manufacturer. David says: “We believe that transparency and accountability are vital to fostering trust and driving meaningful change. This report not only reflects our achievements but also identifies areas where we can improve and sets ambitious targets for the future.”
