Nirvana to deliver hard and soft FM services for BTR operator

Nirvana Maintenance has been appointed by Build-to-Rent (BTR) operator, Dandara Living Management, to deliver full hard and soft facilities management services across its portfolio of approximately 4,000 homes, spanning key cities nationwide, including Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow and Aberdeen.

Under a multi-year agreement, the scope of services encompasses facility management, maintenance technicians, cleaning, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

Nirvana leverages specialist workforce management software to drive better operational efficiencies, streamline stock control, optimise procurement, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Nirvana says these advanced systems allow teams to focus on delivering high-quality services while ensuring transparency and precision in every aspect of operations.

Further strengthening its ability to meet the unique demands of the BTR sector, Nirvana has assembled a dedicated BTR team, recently enhanced by the addition of Daniel Mendez, National FM Operations Director, a leading name in the industry.

For Dandara Living Management, partnering with Nirvana for FM services brings numerous advantages, including de-risking compliance with the evolving Building Safety Act, leveraging Nirvana’s FM expertise, and benefiting from improved procurement terms through Nirvana’s established relationships. By entrusting its FM operations to Nirvana, Dandara Living Management gains access to a wider pool of expertise while ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Sam Smith, Director of Residential Management at Dandara Living Management, said:
”As we enhance our third-party management offering and strive for operational efficiencies and compliance with health and safety standards, outsourcing our facilities management services to Nirvana was a well-considered decision that underscores our confidence in their expertise and collaborative approach. In recent months, Nirvana have proven their capability to deliver scalable, tailored solutions that not only enhance operational efficiency but also enrich the living experience for our residents. Their commitment to partnership, community, and customer focus aligns seamlessly with our values, and we are eager to continue our collaboration to establish new benchmarks in Build-to-Rent facilities management.”

Darren Waitson, Founder of Nirvana Maintenance, commented:
“We are thrilled to partner with Dandara Living Management on this landmark agreement, which highlights their trust in our ability to deliver a facilities management solution through a unique partnership. This collaboration is a testament to the strength of our tailored, people-first approach and our deep understanding of the Build-to-Rent sector. By working closely with Dandara Living Management, we’ve refined our processes to meet the unique needs of their communities, and we’re excited to continue enhancing the living experience for their residents while supporting the growth of this thriving sector.”
