Housing maintenance specialist, Cardo, has secured a major new regional contract with Anchor, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for people in later life.
The contract is part of Anchor’s transformative approach to repairs and planned works, with Cardo overseeing the London and South East region as one of seven regional contracts, which together are worth circa £1.7 billion over 15 years.
Cardo will work alongside Anchor to improve the delivery of repairs and planned works, supported by the cutting-edge Plentific platform, which will streamline work order management, enhance communication between colleagues and contractors, and provide a “seamless experience” for Anchor’s residents.
Simon Will, Executive Director at Cardo said: “We are thrilled to be part of Anchor’s transformation journey and to have been selected to deliver repairs and planned works across the London and South East region.
“At Cardo, we are passionate about providing high-quality services that make a positive difference to people’s lives. By combining our expertise with the innovative Plentific platform, we will deliver real value and exceptional service to Anchor’s residents, ensuring their homes are well-maintained and meet the highest standards.”
Anchor’s Chief Executive Sarah Jones said: “We are pleased to be working with Cardo in London and the South East. Completing repairs and planned property works on time, to a good standard, at a price that represents value for money, is central to our residents’ experience of their homes and it is vital that we get this right.
“We will work in partnership with our new contractors and our technology provider to achieve this outcome for residents, and make the process more efficient for colleagues.”
