infinitSpace opens new beyond workspaces

Tech-led provider of flexible workspaces, infinitSpace, has opened two new workspaces under its ‘beyond’ brand, one in Gouden Bocht, Amsterdam, and one in Berlin Mitte, Quartier Heidestrasse. It is the first time in the company’s three-year history that it has simultaneously opened two new locations in two countries on the same day.

infinitSpace creates and operates flexible workspaces on behalf of commercial landlords and asset managers. Including the two that opened their doors on 3 February, the company operates nine workspaces across four countries, seven of which are run under the beyond brand – three in London, three in Amsterdam and one in Berlin.

beyond Gouden Bocht – Amsterdam

Located in Amsterdam’s historic Canal District, ‘beyond Gouden Bocht’ is spread across three floors of Herengracht 471, a listed building that dates back to 1666. The property is managed by Nuveen Real Estate, one of the world’s largest investment managers with $147 billion of assets under management – infinitSpace entered into a management agreement with Nuveen in Q3 2024.

beyond Gouden Bocht totals almost 1,000 square metres, including a mix of coworking space, private offices and meeting rooms. It is surrounded by popular restaurants, bars and boutiques, while its city centre location boasts excellent transport links.

beyond Quartier Heidestrasse – Berlin

Meanwhile, 400 miles to the east, ‘beyond Quartier Heidestrasse’ marks infinitSpace’s first opening in Germany.

Quartier Heidestrasse is in Berlin’s Europacity project area, a modern and innovative urban district. Located at Heidestraße 34 in the city’s central Mitte borough, the development boasts excellent transport links, with Berlin’s Central Station a five-minute walk away.

Spanning almost 4,500 square metres and facilitating 700 workstations, beyond Quartier Heidestrasse is situated in the complex’s six-story ‘Straight’ building, which combines a mixture of residential and office space, as well as a rooftop bar and cafe. infinitSpace will operate the street-facing section of the building.

In both of the new beyond workspaces, infinitSpace has completed a high-quality fit-out, equipping them with cutting-edge technology, including a workspace management app that connects flexible workspace members across infinitSpace’s global network.

Wybo Wijnbergen, CEO and co-founder of infinitSpace, said: “We are absolutely delighted to open the doors of both these incredible workspaces to members. It marks another big chapter for infinitSpace and our beyond brand, and we’re confident that businesses are going to love working from these new spaces.

“We cannot wait to see both locations go from strength to strength in the months to come, and to forging more partnerships with landlords around the world so together we can launch more amazing flexible workspaces.”

Flexible working: how facilities managers can create the perfect balance

On 27 February FMJ will be hosting a webinar in partnership with workplace management solutions provider, Matrix Booking, to discuss the challenges posed by managing hybrid work models, meeting sustainability targets, and dealing with economic pressures, which have long required a fine balancing act for Facilities Managers. This is set to become more complicated this year with the Government announcing plans to allow staff to work more flexibly.

The webinar will bring together the digital experts from Matrix Booking alongside a panel of workplace thought leaders to discuss how FMs can create the perfect balance.

Can’t make it no problem… Simply sign up below and after the webinar has been broadcast, we will send you a link to watch the recording. Register for the webinar by clicking here.
