The delivered-in office and venue catering specialist has landed a three-year contract at Virgin Group’s new London headquarters.
The new four-storey, 24,000 sq ft office at Whitfield Studios, a former recording studio, in London’s Soho, became the new home of Virgin Group’s 400 team members earlier this month.
Grazing has been appointed to provide all catering services in the building including staff dining, events, hospitality and pantry provision.
During the contract tender process, Grazing stood out for its focus on sustainability, with 90 per cent of deliveries done via zero emissions cargo bikes, with food delivered in either reusable or recyclable Verive packaging.
Commenting on the new contract award, Sam Hurst, CEO of Grazing, said: “Sustainability has been a priority for Virgin throughout the design, build and procurement of the new office and the team felt there was an alignment of values between the two businesses, and appreciated our flexible business model. We look forward to building a great working relationship with them over the coming years.”
The contract is Grazing’s latest in a year that has seen a 30 per cent growth in business, a 50 per cent increase in capacity of its central production unit, and its recent acquisition by Restaurant Associates, part of Compass Group.
On 27 February FMJ will be hosting a webinar in partnership with workplace management solutions provider, Matrix Booking, to discuss the challenges posed by managing hybrid work models, meeting sustainability targets, and dealing with economic pressures, which have long required a fine balancing act for Facilities Managers. This is set to become more complicated this year with the Government announcing plans to allow staff to work more flexibly.
The webinar will bring together the digital experts from Matrix Booking alongside a panel of workplace thought leaders to discuss how FMs can create the perfect balance.
