The Kingdom Group has completed its acquisition of Brighton-based FPR Group, a company specialising in the provision of temporary and permanent recruitment solutions across the industrial and manufacturing, food and horticultural, technical and engineering, and health and social care sectors.
The acquired business will be rebranded as Kingdom People to align with the existing brands within The Kingdom Group.
Kingdom People will now offer an enhanced South-based proposition, leveraging its combined expertise, operational synergies, and tailored recruitment solutions. Customers and colleagues will also benefit from Kingdom’s broader capabilities across security, cleaning, systems and training– backed by the strength of a group with over 11,500 colleagues and a turnover of £300 million.
The senior leadership team at FPR will remain at the helm, ensuring continuity and smooth transition for 80+ customers and the new 1,000+ workforce joining Kingdom.
Terry Barton, CEO of The Kingdom Group, said: “We work hard to find and get over the line acquisitions that match not only our CARE values but also our passion and aspirations as a group. FPR Group’s team immediately impressed our M&A team and we now welcome them to The Kingdom Group. Our Southern recruitment business and market proposition is further strengthened by the addition of FPR Group. Together and united, we’re positioned to deliver even greater value and innovative recruitment solutions.”
Mark Foster, CEO FPR Group said: “After 20 incredible years of building and leading FPR Group, the time has come for me to take a step back from the business. I now hand over to The Kingdom Group, the perfect partner to take FPR into its next chapter. Their vision, values, and expertise align perfectly with what we’ve built, and I am excited to see the opportunities this new partnership will bring for our colleagues and customers. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey.”
