Action Sustainability has been crowned winner of the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council’s (SPLC) 2024 Leadership Award in the ‘Public Interest Advocate’ category. The award recognises Action Sustainability’s outstanding commitment and achievements in driving positive environmental, social, and economic impacts through its innovative sustainable purchasing practices.
ISO20400.org, the winning initiative, is a globally recognised platform dedicated to promoting sustainable procurement. Established in 2017 by Action Sustainability as a Community Interest Company (CIC), the platform serves as a free resource hub, offering informative materials, an interactive self-assessment tool, and action planning guidance to help organisations of all sizes make tangible progress in sustainable procurement. Directed by a Steering Group of 23 sustainable procurement experts from 19 countries, ISO20400.org has become the “go-to” resource for best practices in the field.
