adi Group, a leading multidisciplinary engineering firm based in Birmingham, has raised an impressive £100,000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.
This significant milestone was celebrated with a special surprise visit from two representatives from the charity, who came to personally congratulate the adi team for their hard work and dedication.
The partnership was first established when adi Group selected Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity as its ‘Charity of the Year’ in 2023. Since then, the firm has committed itself to supporting the charity through various initiatives including fundraising events, employee volunteering days, and direct contributions to purchasing essential medical equipment for the hospital.
Alan Lusty, CEO of adi Group said: “Choosing Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity as our Charity of the Year was an easy decision. The work the organisation does is nothing short of extraordinary, and we are honoured to be able to contribute.
“Our employees have shown incredible enthusiasm and creativity in their fundraising efforts, and we are proud to support the charity in any way we can.”
During the visit, the charity representatives expressed their gratitude for the firm’s outstanding support, giving a heartwarming speech that highlighted key moments in the partnership.
Suzanne Burton, Business Systems Director heading up adi’s responsible business strategy, said: “Each effort from the adi team has played a part in making a positive impact on the lives of young patients and their families, and we couldn’t be prouder of all the employees who helped out.
“Responsible business practices are integral to adi Group, and reaching this milestone is a huge reward for all of us. We certainly hope this will inspire others in the industry to prioritise support for local causes.”
