Associate director of catering and FM hire at Vertas

Chris Osborne has been appointed as the new Associate Director of Catering and Facilities Management Services at Vertas Group.

Osborne joins the business with extensive experience gained throughout his 34-year career in catering, which spans multiple sectors, including retail, healthcare, education, business and industry, as well as government.

For the last 14 years, Osborne has worked in the FM sector, leading a number of multi-site operations. He is currently completing a Master’s Degree and Level 7 Apprenticeship in Executive Leadership, furthering his operational and strategic skills.

In his new role, Osborne will initially focus on gaining an insight into the business and its operations. A key priority will be working on Vertas’ latest joint venture with Nottinghamshire County Council, to ensure a smooth mobilisation and transition of colleagues ahead of the contract commencing.

Osborne said of his new appointment: “I am pleased to join Vertas Group at a very exciting time. I look forward to supporting the transition as Vertas embarks on its latest joint venture and working to ensure the company’s culture remains at the forefront throughout the process. Aside from this, I will work to encourage the team to support current and future colleagues in the catering and FM services of Vertas, maintaining high customer and client service standards.
