Atlas Security has chosen leading UK charity, Action for Children as its partner. As part of this partnership, Atlas Security volunteered its security services for the charity’s inaugural FestivALL event, while also providing support at the London Marathon and fundraising through taking part in The Monster Triathlon.
The recent collaboration follows the results of Atlas’ annual Employee Happiness Survey, which highlighted support for a children’s charity as the most popular choice among employees.
Action for Children protects and supports vulnerable children and young people by providing practical and emotional care and support, ensuring their voices are heard and campaigning to bring lasting improvements to their lives. With 447 services across the UK, in schools and online, it helped 765,905 children, young people and families in 2022/23.
Atlas employees have already participated in Action for Children’s fundraising, with many supporting the charity’s 60 London Marathon runners. In June, Atlas provided a team of volunteers at FestivALL, an accessible music festival for children and families supported by Action for Children. And in July, Atlas Security’s Managing Director took part in the seven-day endurance event The Monster Triathlon raising over £2,000 for the charity.
Additionally, the Atlas team will be taking part in the charity’s annual sleep-out Boycott Your Bed in October and competing in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in May 2024.
Gary Stanton, Managing Director of Atlas Security, says it was important to the business to support a cause that is championed by Atlas employees.
He said: “We wanted to make sure we listen to our people and work with a charity that is closest to them.
