Corps Monitoring Managing Director, Andrea Strong, has been recognised at the 2024 Women in Security Awards, winning the Technical category for her outstanding contributions to the security industry, especially in the areas of innovation, technical development, and leadership.
With over three decades of experience in the security sector, Strong has been a pioneering force in pushing the boundaries of technological advancements. Since joining Corps Monitoring in 2023, she has been instrumental in the growth and success of the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) in Glasgow, ensuring the maintenance to gold-standard status within the industry. Her leadership has also been a catalyst for the introduction of new, cutting-edge products and services, as well as forging strategic partnerships, including a significant collaboration with the National Robotarium, enhancing the industry’s use of robotics and AI technologies.
Strong is also dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion within the security industry. Through her creation of the Innovation Group at Corps, she encourages her team to explore new technologies and ideas, paving the way for future advancements that will shape the sector’s development.
The Women in Security Awards celebrate the achievements, value, and impact of women working in the security sector. The awards recognise the contributions women make to security at all levels, with categories ranging from leadership and customer service to technical innovation.
