The property maintenance specialist has secured a hard services contract with Leigh Academies Trust, an education provider operating across Kent, Medway, and South East London.
DMA Group will be delivering a wide range of hard FM services including HVAC, fire, security, electrical, lifts, and water management to 31 academies within the Trust over a three-year term, with two, one-year extension options.
Within the contract terms, DMA Group will also implement its own service management platform BiO®, seamlessly integrating it with Leigh Academies Trust’s own Compliance Pod system. This will enable efficient management of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency across the portfolio.
Commenting on the new contract award, Valerie Miller, Sales & Marketing Director, DMA Group said: “We are thrilled to have secured this exciting partnership with Leigh Academies Trust, which highlights DMA Group’s expertise in providing tailored solutions to educational institutions. Our team is looking forward to delivering a wide range of hard services and integrating our own service management platform BiO®, with Leigh Academies Trust’s own Compliance Pod system. By combining these two systems, we are enhancing the efficiency of maintenance and ensuring compliance standards are met across the board.
“We appreciate Leigh Academies Trust’s commitment to providing quality education to all students, and we look forward to supporting their mission by delivering reliable and efficient facilities management services.”
Phil Whittall, Leigh Academies Trust Estates Director commented: “Ensuring an environment conducive to outstanding teaching and learning experiences remains the paramount focus of the LAT Estates department. With DMA’s values aligned with ours, their adept technical knowledge and robust commitment will effectively mitigate risks arising from unforeseen failures, facilitate informed decisions regarding capital spending, and further bolster LAT’s mission to provide ‘education for a better world’.”
Planned, proactive maintenance is a keystone of every FM strategy. However, with current cost constraints, there are many demands on Facilities Managers’ maintenance budgets. When it comes to drainage and plumbing, however, the expense of repairing blockages or dealing with flooding could vastly exceed the cost of preventative maintenance.
Given your role as an FM Professional, we would love to hear your views, challenges & experiences, and opinions on drainage & plumbing within the workplace.
