EMCOR UK has strengthen its partnership with Anglian Water with a four-year contract extension.
Anglian Water is the largest water and water recycling company in England and Wales by geographic area. The company supplies water and water recycling services to almost seven million people in the East of England and Hartlepool.
EMCOR UK, which has been working with Anglian Water since 2017, will provide a range of hard and soft services, including asset management, cleaning, front of house, security, HVAC, fire systems, waste management and project services. Ninety-eight EMCOR UK employees will cover 13 corporate locations and more than 70 operational sites, with scope to increase this over the duration of the contract.
Commenting on the contract extension, Jamie Walker-Smith, Account Director at EMCOR UK, said: “We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Anglian Water and it’s thanks to our team that we have been trusted to continue our great work. We continue to innovate in how we utilise data to deliver strategic asset management which will help us drive efficiencies and reduce costs for Anglian Water.”
Cliff Marriner, Head of Maintenance & Engineering Services at Anglian Water, said: “Building long-term strong and trusted relationships is key to delivery. We have worked with EMCOR UK for a number of years now and have developed a great working relationship with them. A key long-term challenge is our transition from Asset Management Plan 7 to 8, and EMCOR UK will be an important partner in this process.”
Planned, proactive maintenance is a keystone of every FM strategy. However, with current cost constraints, there are many demands on Facilities Managers’ maintenance budgets. When it comes to drainage and plumbing, however, the expense of repairing blockages or dealing with flooding could vastly exceed the cost of preventative maintenance.
Given your role as an FM Professional, we would love to hear your views, challenges & experiences, and opinions on drainage & plumbing within the workplace.
