Eric Wright appoints facilities management MD

Eric Wright Group has appointed Ryan Pearce as Managing Director of its Facilities Management division to spearhead the business’ strategic growth phase.

Pearce has over 20 years’ experience in the FM industry having held leadership roles with organisations including Tetratech, where he led the asset and facilities division for the EMEA, and EQUANS – (formally ENGIE UK & Ireland), where he was Regional Partnerships Director, overseeing contracts worth over £100million.

Eric Wright Facilities Management specialises in the healthcare, education and general workspace sectors and has an ambitious development plan to expand its operations across the North of England, with manufacturing and local authorities identified as two key growth areas for the business.

The division currently employs over 350 people and is looking to further increase its headcount, recruiting for positions ranging from business development and procurement to general operatives.

Commenting on his move to Eric Wright FM, Pearce said: “Having accrued in-depth experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary organisation, I understand the benefits that come from working as part of a wider Group. Nurturing relationships is key to our commercial success and our priority is to focus on the exit management process for our PFI & LIFT concessions and retain our loyal customers.

“Our ambition is to modernise the service offer and drive value from Group capabilities which will help achieve further growth. This will come from our existing team of experts as well as continuing to recruit new talent. I am looking forward to working with our team and partners to build on the division’s already strong foundation.”

Jeremy Hartley, CEO of Eric Wright Group, said: “Ryan’s arrival marks the start of an exciting new chapter which will see further growth and success in years to come. As with all our divisions, the Facilities Management business will continue to benefit from the wider strength and stability of the Group and also play its part in delivering our Social Value strategy which is focused more than ever on creating meaningful and lasting change for the lives of people who live and work in the communities in which we operate.”
