- Chef of the Year – Gemma Evans-Hurley was commended for launching Compass Group’s Women in Food Initiative which aims to tackle the industry’s shortage of female chefs, building a community of nearly 300 from just six in 2021.
- Chef Manager of the Year – Mark Price was praised for his success overseeing the food offer at Brakes (a Sysco company), a leading wholesaler of food which operates 24/7 serving drivers on tight deadlines.
- Eurest also picked up the coveted CSER Award for the third year in a row.
Praised for its dedication to sustainability, Eurest has some of the most ambitious goals in the sector, committed to achieving net zero by the end of 2030, halving food waste by 2025 and 60 per cent plant-based menus by the end of 2024.

Planned, proactive maintenance is a keystone of every FM strategy. However, with current cost constraints, there are many demands on Facilities Managers’ maintenance budgets. When it comes to drainage and plumbing, however, the expense of repairing blockages or dealing with flooding could vastly exceed the cost of preventative maintenance.
Given your role as an FM Professional, we would love to hear your views, challenges & experiences, and opinions on drainage & plumbing within the workplace.
