Harmony Fire has been appointed to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) fire safety works framework.
The four-year, c.£25 million capital works framework, which has the option to extend for a further two-year period, encompasses a comprehensive range of fire safety works across RKBC’s residential property portfolio.
The scope of works to be delivered under the new framework includes planned maintenance, refurbishment and improvement works, with Harmony Fire successfully appointed across the Active Fire Protection Systems; and Means of Escape, Fire Detection and Smoke Ventilation lots. Work streams for the national fire safety specialist will include the supply, installation, repair and maintenance of fire stopping, fire compartmentation and fire doors, as well as fire detection and smoke ventilation systems.
Giles Holley, Partnership Director at Harmony Fire, commented: “RBKC has made a public commitment to build trust and confidence for residents in the safety of their homes, and this major long-term investment plan is a key element of this prioritisation. We look forward to working collaboratively with RBKC and our fellow framework contractors to share knowledge and innovation that directly benefits and enhanced the lives of residents across the borough.”
This is the latest high-profile partnership for Harmony Fire, which recently announced its reappointment to the CHIC Fire & Building Safety Framework, alongside a coveted place on the NHS Shared Business Services framework. The fire safety specialist is also a framework partner with Guinness Partnership, Notting Hill Genesis, Places For People and Hyde.
