Hygiacura Group Limited, a newly established investment vehicle specialising in growing a nationwide group of commercial cleaning and facilities management companies, has acquired Sector Support Services Limited, marking the beginning of Hygiacura’s ambitious growth-through-acquisition strategy.
Hygiacura’s investors and management team bring over 100 years of combined experience within the commercial cleaning and facilities management industry, which it says positions the company perfectly to identify and integrate successful businesses into the growing group.
Bedford-based Sector Support Services Limited brings to Hygiacura a wealth of expertise in educational, medical, and industrial/logistics site cleaning, enhancing Hygiacura’s capabilities and market presence in these sectors.
Sacha Jakovljevich, CEO of Hygiacura Group Limited said of the acquisition: “We are thrilled to welcome Sector Support Services into the Hygiacura family. They share our unwavering commitment to quality, customer service, and innovation. Sector’s team of over 150 professional staff and their expertise in specialised cleaning will allow us to offer an even broader range of services and reach more clients across the UK.”
This strategic acquisition marks a significant step in Hygiacura’s trajectory toward achieving £50 million in revenue within the next three years.
Hygiacura is deeply committed to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy. This includes a focus on destigmatising the cleaning industry in clients’ eyes, encouraging the adoption of eco-friendly products, and advocating for higher pay rates that reflect the essential nature of cleaning services.
Jakovljevich added: “This is an exciting new chapter for Hygiacura. Our vision is to become the go-to provider of commercial cleaning and facilities management solutions in the UK, while also driving positive change within the industry. We are actively seeking additional acquisition opportunities that align with our core values and commitment to sustainable growth.”
Hygiacura currently has approximately 12 companies within its deal pipeline.
