Bidvest Noonan, a provider of facilities services across the UK and Ireland, has strengthened its commitment to innovation and sustainability with two key appointments – Chris Cunningham joins the business as Innovation Manager and Nina Delia takes up the role of Environmental Manager.
Cunningham brings a wealth of experience as a Business Innovation Specialist, having expertise in Coaching, Change Management, and Programme Management. In his role as Innovation Manager, he’ll spearhead innovative solutions, identify new opportunities, and introduce cutting-edge initiatives to enhance Bidvest Noonan’s market position.
Cunningham’s joins Bidvest Noonan following several investments by the group, including the appointment of Peter Smyth as the Director of Innovation and Technology. In recent years, the business has also significantly invested in innovative technologies, introducing a range of robotic and cobotic machines. In 2023, the company was among the first in the industry to deploy Spot, a quadruped robot from Boston Dynamics, enhancing safety and efficiency in its security services.
Throughout Cunningham’s distinguished career, he has introduced innovation initiatives for government departments, established a Corporate Innovation Centre within the vaccine R&D sector of a leading global pharmaceutical firm, and directed the creation of an award-winning investment platform for a renowned private bank.
Delia has recently joined the Bidvest Noonan’s environmental sustainability team. Bringing substantial expertise and experience, Delia’s contribution will be invaluable as the company charts its path towards achieving Net Zero.
In her role, Delia will monitor Bidvest Noonan’s carbon footprint, identifying sources of emissions, ensuring the business allocates its resources where they can have the most significant impact. She will also assist Bidvest Noonan in creating service solutions that empower its customers to reach their sustainability objectives.
