The global facilities management and workplace experience firm has entered into an enhanced three-year contract with Superdry.

Macro has already been working with the clothing retailer for five years. The new contract sees Macro become the principal contractor, and will take on all facilities services for Superdry’s owned store portfolio across circa 180 stores in the UK, Europe and the US.

Ian Morgan, Health & Safety and Facilities Manager of Superdry, said: “I am delighted to be entering into a new phase of our partnership with Macro. Superdry first outsourced facilities management for our Head Office and Global Store estate to Macro under a managing agent model back in 2019, I’m really pleased that we’ve been able to evolve our relationship by appointing Macro as our Principal Contractor for the next three years.

“This new contract model reflects the strength of the relationship that has built up between the two businesses and the positive impact that Macro has made so far. It will help to reduce our operating costs, improve service levels and simplify some of our internal processes. The awarding of this contract is very much testament to the Macro team’s passion, tenacity, and integrity, and a well-deserved reward following the previous five years’ hard work.”

Ross Abbate, CEO of Macro, said: “One of our core values is to  ‘Drive for better’, which represents our ambition to go beyond everyday excellence to deliver smarter, faster, and more affordably for our clients. Our extended relationship with Superdry exemplifies this commitment, and I’m proud of what we’ll achieve together over the next three years.”
