Bellrock Group has appointed Carlo Alloni as its new CEO.
Known for his people-focused leadership and deep expertise in both technology and services, Alloni commenced his tenure on 21 August. He joins Bellrock with an impressive track record, having held key leadership roles at Ericsson, Cable & Wireless, and Mitie.
Alloni’s appointment follows the decision of Paul Bean to step down as CEO for family and health reasons. Bean will continue in an advisory capacity, ensuring a smooth transition and continuing to support Bellrock’s growth plans in a part-time role.
Speaking about the appointment, John Hamilton, Chief People Officer, Bellrock Group said: “We are delighted to welcome Carlo to the Bellrock team. His passion for people and his strategic insight aligns perfectly with our vision for the future. I have no doubt Carlo will be a fantastic addition to the team and will play a vital role in driving our business forward.”
Alloni said of his new role: “I’m thrilled to be starting this new chapter at Bellrock Group. I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome and especially Paul Bean for his guidance during this transition. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone across the business and getting to know the team better. Bellrock has seen great growth over the past two years and it’s an inspiring time to be at the helm of this evolving business.”
Frontline workers form the backbone of facilities management services, serving as the face of the brand and interacting directly with customers. Yet research by both L&G and the Living Wage Foundation reveals the majority feel overlooked and expendable.
Accelerating the problem is a growing technology gap. Despite having 2.7 billion deskless workers worldwide, representing 80 per cent of the global workforce, only one per cent of software and technology investments has been allocated to this segment. This means there is a huge disconnect between frontline workers and their headquarters, leading to lack of sufficient training, communication challenges and low employee retention.
For this webinar, FMJ has teamed up with frontline training platform Lingio to bring together a panel of experts, to discuss how easy-to-use and efficient AI tools can help create engaging and gamified learning experiences that fit the needs of underserved deskless workers. The result? Better software and learning experiences lead to improved staff engagement and reduced staff turnover by up to 95 per cent, according to McKinsey.
