Nominations open for IoH Annual Awards 2025

The Institute of Hospitality has unveiled its 2025 Annual Awards, to celebrate excellence across the global hospitality sector, with the winners announced at a black-tie dinner on Monday 16 June 2025 at London’s JW Marriott Grosvenor House.

Reflecting on the significance of the awards, IoH CEO Robert Richardson FIH MI said: “These awards are the highlight of our calendar year, providing a global platform to celebrate the incredible talent, innovation, and dedication of hospitality professionals and businesses. I am thrilled that organisations worldwide will once again have the opportunity to showcase their achievements and be recognised for their outstanding contributions.”

Open to professionals and businesses worldwide, the awards’ categories are:

1. Best Educational Programme 2025

  • SMEs sponsored by Keenan Recycling
    This award is open to SME employers in any location across the hospitality, leisure and tourism sectors. It aims to recognise those organisations that can show evidence of an engaging graduate programme, Apprenticeship scheme and/or inspirational student placement scheme.
  • Large Businesses sponsored by Keenan Recycling
    This award is open to large businesses in any location across the hospitality, leisure and tourism sectors. It aims to recognise those organisations that can show evidence of an engaging graduate programme, Apprenticeship scheme and/or inspirational student placement scheme.

2. The Gregory De La Peña-Hall FIH Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Employer of the Year Award 2025 

  • SMEs
    This award is open to SME employers in any location across the hospitality, leisure, and tourism sectors. It aims to recognise employers who have shown an outstanding commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) and can demonstrate how it has positively impacted the business and the wider hospitality industry.
  • Large Businesses
    This award is open to large businesses in any location across the hospitality, leisure, and tourism sectors. It aims to recognise employers who have shown an outstanding commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) and can demonstrate how it has positively impacted the business and the wider hospitality industry.

3. Talent Development Team of the Year 2025

  • SME – sponsored by CGA Integration
    This award is open to SME employers in any location across the hospitality, leisure, and tourism sectors. It aims to recognise teams that can show evidence of outstanding commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD), supporting individual professionals at all levels of their careers and who have collectively made positive impacts across the organisation.
  • Large Businesses – sponsored by CGA Integration
    This award is open to large businesses in any location across the hospitality, leisure, and tourism sectors. It aims to recognise teams that can show evidence of outstanding commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD), supporting individual professionals at all levels of their careers and who have collectively made positive impacts across the organisation.

4. Outstanding Contribution to the Industry 2025 – sponsored by Aspire Executive Lounges 

Nominated by IoH Fellows
This prestigious accolade, nominated exclusively by members of the IoH College of Fellows, will be awarded to an individual who has made a lasting impact on the hospitality, leisure, and tourism sectors.

5. The Institute of Hospitality CEO’s Award 2025 

A special award bestowed on an IoH Member who has made an exceptional contribution to supporting the aims and objectives of the IoH.

Hospitality Assured

In addition to the IoH Annual Awards, the Hospitality Assured 2025 Awards will also be presented on the night, celebrating businesses that uphold the highest service excellence standards.

  • Nomination Deadline: Monday 28th April 2025 at 17:00 (BST)
  • Shortlist Announced: Thursday 1st May 2025​
  • Annual Dinner & Awards Ceremony: Monday 16th June 2025 18:00 – 22:00 (BST)
