OCS has successfully provided extensive security services at the European Political Community (EPC) meeting held on 18 July at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.
Hosted by the newly elected Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the EPC meeting brought together around 45 leaders from across Europe to discuss shared challenges such as Ukraine and illegal migration.
OCS implemented a robust security plan for the event, which included guarding duties, access control, installation of security technology, security system monitoring and airport security scanning. A notable feature was the setup of seven airport-style security scanning lanes, operated by OCS, along with 80 static CCTV cameras, two control rooms with video walls, 60 WASP systems, 30 rapid deployment CCTV towers, 24/7 onsite support, and a communications network with radios and base stations.
Steven Moore, OCS UK Security Managing Director said: “I am immensely proud of our team’s successful execution of extensive security services at the EPC meeting held at Blenheim Palace. It was an honour to contribute to shaping the future of our continent, and we remain dedicated to ensuring the safety of all attendees at such significant gatherings.”
