OCS, the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) and the Procurator Fiscal Office (COPFS) have officially signed a contract reaffirming their long-standing partnership in delivering Total Facilities Management services across the SCTS estate.
SCTS and OCS have been partners since 2011, and this latest contract underscores their continued commitment to ensuring high-quality, efficient, and sustainable facilities management across 74 sites, including parts of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Office (COPFS) Scotland’s Prosecution Service.
OCS supports approximately 490 colleagues across these locations, including 40 colleagues based at the Supreme Court in Edinburgh, where the official signing ceremony took place.
This contract spans seven years, with an option to extend for a further two years. It covers a comprehensive range of services, ensuring the continued maintenance and enhancement of Scotland’s historic courts and tribunals estate. Core services on the contract include cleaning, maintenance services, security, and project management, with a strong focus on social value, innovation, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement.
The contract signing took place at the Supreme Court, Parliament House in Edinburgh on the 3rd of February 2025, the same day as the swearing-in of the Right Honourable Lord Pentland as Lord President and Lord Justice General.
