Orbis Protect acquires Optosafe Ireland

Specialist security and protection services business, Orbis Protect, has completed the strategic acquisition of CCTV and security services specialist, Optosafe Ireland Limited, to expand its service offering to customers in the UK, Republic of Ireland and Europe.

By joining the Orbis group of companies, Optosafe Ireland will be able to further enhance its customers’ experience enabling access to a broader range of security and technology solutions with the support of the wider Orbis group infrastructure. Orbis will invest in Optosafe Ireland to support planned growth through delivery of new security solutions and accessing new markets.

Founded in 2019, Optosafe Ireland has grown a reputation for excellence in technology products and market leading responsive service delivery across Ireland. It provides services to blue-chip organisations delivering security solutions in construction, house building and critical national infrastructure projects.

Orbis has had a very successful strategic partnership with Optosafe Ireland over recent years, supporting the business to deliver technology solutions to its customers in both Republic of Ireland and the UK.

The business has grown successfully under the direction of founder and MD, Ed Mulligan. He has had a long-established and successful career in leading security and monitoring businesses over the last 20 years, and will continue to lead Optosafe Ireland as part of the enlarged Orbis group.
