Pagabo names suppliers for new £545m M&E framework

National framework provider Pagabo has announced the 47 suppliers appointed to its brand-new £545 million Mechanical & Electrical Solutions Framework.

The framework, which will run for a total of four years, has been designed as a solutions-based offering to complement Pagabo’s wider suite of frameworks.

The framework is split into three lots, with eight core and four reserve suppliers per lot, per region.

• Lot 1 – Mechanical Works
• Lot 2 – Electrical Works
• Lot 3 – Mechanical and Electrical Works

Each lot contains four value-banded sub lots.

• £50,000 to £500,000
• £500,000 to £1m
• £1m to £3m
• £3m and above

The framework will be available nationally and be split into 12 UK regions. It will be open for all types of public sector organisations to procure through, including but not limited to, local authorities, blue light services, housing associations, healthcare, education, aviation, rail, nuclear, highways and infrastructure.

“Framework users will be able to appoint suppliers via direct award or further competition, to provide flexibility. As with all of our frameworks, there are a number of places reserved for SMEs. In this agreement, 74 per cent of appointments have been awarded to SMEs, which when combined with the regional breakdown ensures fair access for the most appropriate organisations, excellent choice for clients and maximum positive social value for communities.”

To fully embed social value into the heart of all procurement activity from the outset of projects, all appointed suppliers and clients will have access to a free version of Loop’s social value calculation tool for Pagabo procured projects.

Cumbria, Northumberland, and Tyne and Wear NHS (CNTW) is the contracting authority for the new agreement, having also held the same role for Pagabo’s Major Works and Developer-Led frameworks.
