Prime Facility Services in Elston Hall Learning Trust win

Prime Facility Services has secured the contract for cleaning four schools in Wolverhampton under the Elston Hall Learning Trust (EHLT), commencing on 1 September 2024.

The contract award marks another local win for the company, headquartered in Telford, and reinforces its growing presence in the education sector within the Midlands.

The tender process for the contract began in 2023 when it was part of a joint tender with St Bartholomew’s C of E MAT, and in 2024, the tender was re-issued as a standalone opportunity.

Prime Facility Services will be taking over from Wolverhampton Council, and approximately 17 staff members will be transferred to Prime under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE). This transition ensures continuity for the schools and job security for the existing staff.

Dave Edwards, Managing Director of Prime Facility Services said: “We are delighted to have been chosen to provide cleaning services for Elston Hall Learning Trust. This contract not only reflects our dedication to maintaining high standards but also our ability to deliver exceptional value to educational institutions.”

Talash Chopra, Trust Business Manager at Elston Hall Learning Trust commented: “We are excited to partner with Prime Facility Services. Their reputation for quality and reliability aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.”
