Oil Storage Regulations for business are set by the UK Government.
You must follow the rules on storing oil if you have an oil storage container with a capacity of 201 litres +. You risk a fine or prosecution if you do not follow the requirements. The Environment Agency can also serve an anti-pollution works notice to make you bring your oil store up to legal standards.
