Scott McKenna, Style south’s specification manager, recently completed his first official half marathon in 2hrs 20mins, raising money for the StrongMen charity which provides support for men suffering from bereavement.
“The London Landmarks event was really well organised, and I was delighted to complete the distance and also to raise money for such an exceptional cause,” said McKenna.
The StrongMen charity provides support to men who can often be overlooked after a bereavement and can suffer severe emotional and physical health conditions. Many men can struggle with crippling anxiety, depression and PTSD but do so in silence as there is often an assumption that they are OK.
The charity was co-founded by Efrem Brynin who, as well as running the charity day to day, also prioritises working with certain key clients for Style making it one of particular personal importance to everyone in our business.
