UK building compliance specialist acquires Enviroduct

Green Zone Surveys, a provider of building compliance and energy assessment services, has acquired ductwork cleaning and ventilation company, Enviroduct.

The strategic move marks a significant milestone in Green Zone Surveys’ growth — increasing the company’s workforce and profit, while enhancing its service offering in the TR-19 market.

Enviroduct, established in 2015, is one of the largest ductwork cleaning companies in the Northern region with operations spanning the UK. The company specialises in TR-19 grease extraction cleaning, ventilation cleaning to BSEN 15780 standards, fire damper testing, deep cleaning of commercial kitchens and other compliance-related services.

Green Zone Surveys and Enviroduct have previously collaborated and this acquisition enables the former to strengthen its current TR19 offering, expand its service portfolio, widen its geographical reach and drive new business opportunities.

The integration will see Enviroduct retain its brand identity for the foreseeable future, with a co-branded approach to leverage both firms’ established market presence.

The combined client portfolio spans the hospitality, retail, and public sectors, with major clients including national fast-food outlets and local education authorities.

Callum Thompson, CEO of Green Zone Surveys, said of the acquisition: “Bringing Enviroduct into the Green Zone group is an exciting step forward.

“Their established reputation in the TR-19 market complements our existing services and their team’s expertise aligns perfectly with our own commitment to providing best-in-class compliance solutions.

“This acquisition strengthens our position as a national leader in building compliance, enhances our customer offering and accelerates our growth trajectory.”

Ben Walker, Enviroduct’s Managing Director, will remain in his role, ensuring continuity for both clients and staff.

Walker said: “Joining Green Zone Surveys marks a new chapter for Enviroduct. We’ve built a strong partnership over the years and have a strongly aligned vision of how to scale the operation, complementing our diverse skills based in building compliance services.

“As part of Green Zone Surveys, we’re perfectly positioned to deliver unrivalled expertise and value in the TR-19 and ventilation compliance markets.”
