Global resource management company, Veolia, is set to deliver specialist estates engineering and maintenance services to a range of NHS and public sector authorities, after securing a place on the North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) Hard FM Framework.
Designed to provide a one stop shop for organisations to meet their engineering and maintenance requirements, the framework will provide customers with expert services that combine quality, value and compliance. The comprehensive range of services from Veolia includes the provision of renewable and low carbon heating systems, solar PV electricity generation, air conditioning, electrical works, heating and plumbing, standby power generation, and managed FM.
Committed to maximising the economic and environmental benefit through bespoke procurement solutions for the public sector, the NOE CPC framework agreements are linked to the NHS Net Zero supplier roadmap which aims to achieve the world’s first net zero national health service.
Commenting on this latest project, John Abraham, Veolia’s Chief Operating Officer – Industrial, Water & Energy for UK, Ireland and Nordics said: “Through this new framework agreement we will be able to extend our services to more NHS and public sector facilities, and help accelerate decarbonisation. By delivering the expert services essential to support these facilities, this further highlights our goal to help our customers reduce their carbon emissions through our strategic GreenUP programme.”
Veolia currently provides energy and facilities management to over 100 hospitals in the UK, and these support the healthcare for around 8.1 million inpatients each year, reducing CO₂ emissions in the sector by 120,000 tonnes.
