As of today (3 March) Initivo Consultancy is the new name and brand for the former VINCI Technology Centre.
The company’s testing, engineering and consultancy services have evolved to meet the demands of fast-paced stakeholders seeking advice, research, guidance, and real-world practical solutions and as such the Initivo name is a “stronger reflection” of the company’s work and services.
The services provided by Initivo are not changing and remain very much rooted in the status of the business as a UKAS-accredited testing laboratory.
Initivo will continue to provide:
- Full scale mock-up testing and trials
- Concrete mix design development and production trials
- Laboratory testing: facades, acoustics, structures, and materials
- Building pathology: investigation of structures, including water ingress
- Innovative NDT and non-intrusive surveying techniques for ageing assets
- Decommissioning: drop testing of flasks for nuclear waste (indoor facility)
Initivo Consultancy Managing Director, Emma Kent, said: “This is an exciting change for our team at Leighton Buzzard. We are evolving to meet our customer needs and the new name, Initivo, reflects that. Whether it is in nuclear, aerospace, rail, road or built structures, we can build and test anything. What we do is not defined by technology. We collaborate with client teams to provide practical solutions to complex engineering challenges. What’s more, everything we do is underpinned by our consultancy capability: developing creative solutions to deliver the outcomes you need across a range of sectors.”
There are no other changes to this specialist entity and Initivo remains a wholly owned subsidiary of VINCI Construction Holding Limited.
