Leeds-based soft facilities management firm, SBFM, led by Founder and Owner Colin Shute and CEO Matthew Chapman, has embarked on an “unprecedented year of growth” and has been recognised by multiple bodies across 2023.
The company says it continues to go from strength to strength having secured contracts with leading brands and organisations across multiple sectors and this has been noted by external bodies.
E2E has recognised SBFM as one of the top 100 UK companies in terms of Job Creation. This year saw the launch of SBFM’s flagship programme Evolve, which is designed to give second chances to those who might be overlooked when it comes to employment or development opportunities, such as ex-offenders, ex-military personnel, minority ethnic groups or the differently abled.
As well as E2E, SBFM has been recognised as one of the 100 fastest growing companies in England by Fast Growth 50, where it placed SBFM as the 23rd fastest growing business in the north of England out of over one million.
SBFM has also been placed 62nd on the list of 100 fastest growing founder-led businesses in the UK. As stated on the FEBE website, there are over 4.2 million private companies in the UK; of these; 45,000 are classed as ‘fast-growing’.
The company was also a finalist for the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Award at the IWFM Awards 2023, showcasing the “upward mobility and progressive mindset” SBFM is currently focused on.
