ISS TO DRIVE ORGANIC GROWTH WITH SENIOR APPOINTMENTS
ISS has announced two new senior appointments in
both its public sector and food services businesses.
Eddie Fairish has joined ISS as Senior Commercial
Director. Fairish joins ISS from Aramark where he
established a strong track record in securing large
multiservice service contracts, which included playing
a leading role in the Aramark Carillion joint venture
(now wholly owned by Aramark) which secured a lion
share of high value HESTIA contracts in the defence

sector in 2017.
Richard Green, a strategic sales leader with a demonstrable track record for achieving
outstanding results, has joined from the Compass Group, taking up the role of Sales Director of
ISS’ food service business.
Green’s new role will be to spearhead growth in ISS Food Services and position it as leading
caterer in the UK.
SODEXO NAMES WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE LEAD
Sodexo has appointed workplace specialist, So Young Hyun, to the role of
Workplace Experience Leader.
Hyun is the first hire to Sodexo-owned workplace experience consultancy
Wx in the UK and Ireland.
Wx is a fully owned subsidiary of Sodexo and helps improve its clients’
workplace experience through ethnography, IoT and data science. In her
new role Hyun will support the strategic development of Wx’s business
in the UK and Ireland, whilst at the same time, developing Sodexo’s workplace o er as a
member of its business development team.
ROSS ABBATE TO TAKE ON CEO
ROLE AT MACRO
Mace has announced a number of
changes to its Group Board and
wider leadership teams, which
will see the creation of four new
divisional Chief Executive O icer
roles across the company’s four
‘Engines for Growth’: Develop,
Consult, Construct and Operate.
The new structure will take
e ect in January 2020, in line with
the company’s 2022 Business Strategy to promote strong
and sustainable growth.
The divisions will have greater influence and control
over their strategies, within the framework created by the
Group Board. Each leader and divisional board will be
responsible for client relationships, service delivery and
overall performance.
David Grover will be appointed as CEO for Develop; Jason
Millett will be appointed as CEO for Consult, Gareth Lewis
will be appointed CEO for Construct with Mark Castle
taking on the role of Chief Operating O icer; and Ross
Abbate will be appointed as CEO for Mace Macro, Mace’s
Operate business. Mark Holmes will take on the role of
Deputy Chairman of Mace.
Richard Bienfait, Mace’s new Chief Financial O icer, will
take up his role on the Group Board in January.
