OTT Hydromet has launched a suite of high quality weather monitoring sensors
that are ideal for construction and building management. “The Lu WS Series
sensors deliver professional-grade weather data with instruments that are
extremely compact, rugged and reliable,” says OTT MD Nigel Grimsley. “In the
past, customers would have had to purchase multiple sensors to monitor
outdoor
conditions
e ectively, but
this can now be
achieved with
substantially
less costly
and smaller
devices.”
Weather
monitors
are needed
for pouring concrete, crane operation etc., but with facility managers seeking
sustainable solutions, Nigel says the big market is now building management
systems.
With no moving parts, OTT’s compact, low-energy multiparameter sensors o er
long-term reliability for almost any weather parameter with easy integration into
BMS and HVAC systems. The available parameters include temperature, relative
humidity, air pressure, wind velocity / direction, precipitation amount / intensity
/ type, UV index, sun direction, brightness and twilight, and global radiation.

proud to have designed and
manufactured a new co ee cup
shaped bin to recycle single used
co ee cups in high footfall areas,
shopping centres and o ice
environments.
Leafield launched the Envirocup
Grande Cup Bin as part of
Hubbub’s #LeedsByExample
co ee cup campaign in 2018.
Its distinctive bright orange
‘co ee cup shape’ was designed
for quick identification in high
footfall areas. Bespoke colour
and graphics are available upon
request. The black co ee style lid
is made from 100% recycled plastic*.
The cup bin collects co ee cups through its six circle apertures and lids through
a designated aperture. The empty co ee cups are stacked inside collection
tubes for easy emptying and cleaning. Any excess liquids can be emptied into a
removable central integral 7.5 liquid reservoir. All graphics are moulded in during
the manufacturing process to minimise dirt traps.
