COMPASS STRENGTHENS EXECUTIVE TEAM
Food and support services company, Compass Group UK & Ireland, has bolstered its executive
team with a number of key appointments.
Ian Cranna has been appointed to the role of Chief Marketing O icer. Cranna
joins the business from Starbucks and has over 25 years’ experience working for
major retail and food and beverage brands.
Charlie Brown has been appointed MD of Chartwells, the
company’s education business. Most recently Compass UK’s
Transformation Director, Brown has held senior operational roles
across a number of Compass sectors.
Also joining the UK & Ireland executive team as Finance Director
is Sarah Sergeant. Prior to this Sergeant worked as the company’s Chief Financial
O icer for Asia Pacific. She has a strong finance background having spent the first
nine years of her career at Price Waterhouse Cooper.
CROWN WORKSPACE APPOINTS WORKPLACE SUSTAINABILITY EXPERT
The appointment of Ashley Lawrence as Crown Workspace’s new Head of
Interiors, will see him focus on growth and sustainability.
With 10 years of experience in the construction sector, starting as a carpenter
and building his way up to board level, Lawrence’s achievements include
helping his previous company grow from a turnover of £1.5 million to more
than £7 million.
Now in his new role he aims to help Crown Workspace, an expert in workplace
sustainability, o ice refurbishment and workplace relocations, in the same way.
Lawrence’s previous role was Director of Operations at WG Silverton & Co, a building,
shopfitting, electrical and maintenance contractor based in Baldock, Hertfordshire, where he
gained a wealth of experience.
NEW DIRECTOR HIRE AT NJC
NJC, the cleaning and support services company, has
appointed Juan Camara to the role of Specialist Services
Operations Director.
Camara joins the business from Cordant
Specialist Services, where he was Operations
Director Technical Cleaning. He has extensive
experience of delivering specialist cleaning,
including kitchen deep cleaning, hard floor
cleaning/ restoration and data centre cleaning, having
worked for key players in the market.
This is the second key appointment to the firm’s senior
team this year with NJC recently welcoming Rob Trewick
back to the company as Operations Director.
KEY APPOINTMENT AT PLATINUM FACILITIES
Technology led, hard FM service provider,
Platinum Facilities, has announced the
appointment of Elliott Taylor to the
position of Account Director.
Taylor joins the business from Jaguar
Building Services where he spent 20 years
in various site, contract and key account
management roles. At Platinum, Taylor will be responsible
for managing several major contracts in London.
He will use his experience to ensure the delivery of high
quality, responsive services, whilst introducing Platinum’s
technology and energy management innovations.
